Korean boy group EXO and rookie girl group Crayon Pop shared trophies from TV music shows over the weekend.

EXO won three trophies from Mnet’s “M! CountDown,” MBC’s “Music Core” and SBS’s “Inkigayo” with their newest title tune “Growl,” while Crayon Pop took their first crown from KBS’s “Music Bank” with dance sensation “Bar Bar Bar.”

On Thursday’s “M! CountDown,” the 12-member boy group edged out Crayon Pop and received their second honor on the show, but the group was edged out by the sensational girl group on KBS’s “Music Bank” the following day.

Crayon Pop members, who first seemed astonished with their win, started to deliver their first-ever acceptance speech as the show’s host handed a mike to the group’s member Geummi.

“We love the agency staff and our fans. We’re so grateful to get this award since we started performing out on the street.,” which was followed by their encore performance of “Bar Bar Bar” without the signature helmets on their heads, as they promised to do so if they win a trophy.

Though EXO missed the trophy and took the second spot on the “Music Bank” chart, the group regained the honor on MBC’s Saturday music show “Music Core” for the second week in a row, edging out Big Bang’s Seungri and R&B artist Bumkey.

On Sunday, EXO achieved three consecutive winnings on SBS’s “Inkigayo.” “We are so happy these days and we will never forget this moment,” the group’s leader SUHO said, while Korean member KAI also drew attention by giving his thoughts in Chinese.
